For the record, who's answering the interview?
CROMLECH
David Baron here, guitarist.

ATP
What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?
CROMLECH
Cromlech is the name - we wanted something that evoked ancient times, that had a weightyness to it, and plus it's a fantastic Solstice song and they're a big influence on us.

ATP
So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?
CROMLECH
David Baron - Guitar
Roman Lechman - Guitar
Kevin Loughnane - VOcals
Brandon Keddy - Bass
Jacob Jezovit - Drums

ATP
How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?
CROMLECH
Well, I initially started it out with a pretty specific Epic Doom sound in mind - which you can hear perfectly in the first track we wrote, For a Red Dawn. However, as Roman and I started working together on more ideas, we started to bring in a ton of influences from thrash, death, black, heavy metal, classical music, even medieval polyphonic chanting - I don't even really know how you'd classify us now, other than "HEAVY metal".

ATP
What bands have influenced each of you?
CROMLECH
The core influences are probably obvious – huge, weighty bands like Bathory, Candlemass, Solstice, Manowar etc. We have a huge range of influences beside that though, elements of death metal, greek black metal, funeral doom, even medieval polyphonic chants in the vocal department, all seep into the mix.

ATP
How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?
CROMLECH
Pretty blushing virgins, I'd have to say. Myself and Kevin have never even been in a band before, and Cromlech has only played a single show to date outside of our general hometown area.

ATP
How would you describe your shows?
CROMLECH
We don't have a huge stage show or a lot of props or anything. We just bring ourselves, a hell of a lot of riffs, and every scrap of dedication and energy we can muster.

ATP
Tell us about your favorite show and why?
CROMLECH
Personally, myself, was seeing Pagan Altar in Montreal back in 2010. It was the first show they had EVER played in North America in their incredibly long career... it was in a small venue, totally packed, every ticket sold, with about 350 people there. You could tell that the Pagan Altar guys were such genuine and humble dudes and were totally overwhelmed by the support they received, because the energy and excitement at the show was palpable, the air was practically shooting lightning, and here are these guys laboring away in complete obscurity for so long, totally unaware that they have this huge totally dedicated following of rabid fans all over the world. All in all an incredible experience and really unlike anything I've ever attended since.

ATP
Tell us about your worst show and why?
CROMLECH
Hmm, interesting question. I remember the good ones a lot better than the bad ones! Well, everyone goes fucking crazy to see Midnight live - I've seen them 3 or 4 times now and every time I've been really bored, and I get the impression they feel the same way. You've got all these fans going totally apeshit but when I look at the band I just don't see much passion going on up there.

ATP
Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?
CROMLECH
e'd love to play in Germany with Atlantean Kodex! BRING US THERE!!

ATP
Do you have a street team and how can you join?
CROMLECH
Apply at your nearest Order of the Knights Templar.

ATP
Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?
CROMLECH
We had a deal with My Graveyard Productions just for the release of Ave Mortis. We will be looking for another label for our second album, Ascent of Kings, which is currently underway.

ATP
What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?
CROMLECH
Drink a lot of beer and play heavy fucking riffs.

ATP
Finally, do have any words on what Arm The Pit means to you?
CROMLECH
Give everyone in the pit bazookas and let the carnage begin!"
